Probably the greatest part of it was the sorbet at the end. Even though it's two small scoops it was nice and refreshing.
Great appetizers - highly recommend the calamari salad and taro dogs.
Ate here before red-eye to CO. Pleasant place, friendly staff, some kitchen missteps. Prawns delivered to table whole, unsplit: really hard to cook, eat with fingers and chopsticks (unless you eat the shells...I don't).
Food is simple and delicious and the service is great.
The service is helpful and friendly but they can be slow at times.
The meal was proportioned on the smaller side and not what you can get compared to other places.
This place is a kinda good shabu shabu spot. You can be sure that the AC is blowing so aren't sweaty when cooking your meats.
B-52 Flying Roaches just laying around dead on the floors! TONS of flies swarming the place! I used my chopsticks to baseball a fat fly and another came. Was too tired to be Batter Up again. If you like flies while eating, then be my guest!! Good was fine, but you get what you get in the West side compared to downtown, minimal quality meats and fish (only experienced eaters can differentiate between high or low quality foods.
I got the mushroom garlic ginger broth thinking that it would look like the picture. I was mistaken. I only got two mushrooms and a few chopped garlic slices and ginger. Not worth the upgrade at all.
