I eat at the various La Tour restaurants regularly. It's a casual atmosphere that's great for meeting with friends. Definitely kid friendly. Overall good food--i especially like the eggplant panini but others go for the burgers and flatbread. The specials are often good but is somewhat inconsistent. Would definitely recommend the specials for people willing to try something new.
I usually go to the la tour cafe downtown. This location is on the fancy end. My taste buds were really set on the Thai sandwich with the takuwaon veggie and basil. But the lady at the counter was not familiar with what I was talking about. So I went with the phoggie sandwich minus the jalapeno. It's ok my son enjoyed it. I may go back to give it another try. This place is pricey. Ample parking, great location, ok customer service.
Brought me, my daughter and my mom here and we all had amazing meals. We had the pastrami dip, margherita, and egg plant parm. All we amazing. The location is very clean and relatively quick. The only issue if I had to knit pick would be pricing. For what I ordered plus 2 drinks it came out to $45ish. This is a great place to come on pay day. Any other time you'll have to wait unless you're rich
We love this place. The food is high quality ingredients and well crafted. Everything on the menu needs to be tried. We r working our way through and looking forward to it.
Chose to grab my Bday lunch here today because the food always makes me happy and as usual, I was not let down. Hot clam chowder, onion soup, and pomme frites were shared with my favorite falafel bahn mi sandwich. We also ordered the goat cheese and beets salad but since there was no goat cheese, it was substituted with a generous cluster of mozzarella cheese cubes. I added a couple of stamps to my kouign amann stamp card with the apple flavored goodies which were warmed up upon request and the best with coffee. If you can still grab them at Costco, you can pick up $50 gift cards for just $40 (bought them to give away and use for my own savings). Only thing that would have made my visit even more special is if I could have enjoyed the croque monsieur just one more time (ltc please bring them back!), but that’s just me being selfish.
