Either way, each feature works extremely well and I give props to Sam's Club for making my life easier.
Downside: produce is always nearly expired. Don't buy veggies here. Also, they drop and replace items frequently. Once you fall in love with a great item, they stop selling it.
Good deals,bargains and in bulk,meats fish, starches, clothes, much more to see , lots of parking even got a little snack shop for a quick bit to eat.
Upside: parking is ample, great local food in their cafe, and great tire and battery service.
I LUV Sam's. I feel they are better than Costco in most areas, especially when it comes to fresh fruit and vegetables!!! And paying for your groceries with the 'Scan n Go' instead of standing in line is da best!!! I wish the cafe line was faster tho.
First, is the ability to scan and pay for items using their app. I no longer have to stand in line. I believe that you still need to pay at the register if you're purchasing alcoholic beverages. Which makes sense since they can't sell to underage customers.
Slow slow slow checkout, products out of stock, most food court workers take orders and operate at snails pace. Costco service is way better. Clearance or closeout pricing can be great.
Sam's Club has implemented two new features that has significantly improved my shopping experience.
Second, you are now able to purchase products online or through their app and pickup at the store. This includes refrigerated and frozen items. I've done this once and was very satisfied with the process. I still like to pick my own produce purchases so I don't see myself using this option as much as the scan and go option.
