My wife took the kitten here because he was acting strange. Our chief concerns were he was sleeping all the time, very lethargic, didn't eat like he normally he did, very foul breath, and he vomited his food sometimes. So we took our kitty here 3 times. The first time we took him here, the doctor told us he didn't know what was wrong but chalked it up to a possible cold or allergies. Gave us some antibiotics and sent us on our way. This visit probably equates to $250-$300. Told us to come back if he didn't improve in the next two weeks. So we did. I firmly said "i really think he has liver disease according to petmd his symptoms are in line with it". Instead of testing his liver, they ran all these tests and tested his urine and chalked it up to "he has red eye or something and needs some eye freaking eye drops". We didn't come there complaining bout his eyes but after $300 worth of test that was there freaking conclusion. My kitten has never been outside or around an unvaccinated animal. I have another cat who was unaffected by any of this so i know that whatever he had wasn't contagious. But the doctor insisted he must've been and asked us to come back in to spend money on more tests. Like is said these doctors suck and probably obtained their degrees from an unaccredited college.
Cost is over inflated. Dont go there blue cross is more affordable.
STAY AWAY from this clinic. Go to a different place where they are more concerned with the health and wellness of your furry family member instead of money. They are the reason my 7 month old kitten died.
Three weeks later, my 7 month old kitten is dead. And i bet the damn doctor still works there. How in the hell did i spend damn $1,000, they did all these "tests" but found nothing but allergies. These people are pathetic and if i could sue them i would. I would sue them for everything because now my kitten is gone and my wife is heart broken because they just wanted to get more money from us instead of fix him. STAY AWAY FROM HERE. THEY ARE CRUEL AND MONEY HUNGRY. They have no compassion toward your pet only their pockets. They need to be out of business. Please understand i took my time to write this long review so you don't make the same mistake i did. RIP Finn i failed you by taking you to this sorry ass clinic. I will post this review everywhere in hope to save someone else's furry friend.
I love this place! Great doctors and staff who are helpful, honest, knowledgable and care about my pets. Cookie loves going because of all of the positive attention she gets. Plus they have everything i need in the retail ssection 24 hour
They don't deserve even the one star that I'm forced to give them. Heed the other comments about how money hungry and uncompassionate they are.
I have read some of the negative experiences and I am very sorry to hear that some people have had them. I feel compelled however, to write that our experience was amazing. Our cat of 14 years died in my arms at home and we brought him to VCA. It was late at night and the young lady (Rosalinda I think?) was so compassionate and understanding with us. They gave us quite a bit of time to say our final goodbyes and then when we returned to pick up his ashes they had a wonderful bag along with it with small trinkets and other things that were very nice; including a tuff of his hair that they saved. VCA will always have a good place in my heart for that and we bring our other cat there still today.
